The burlesque costume consists of a dress and an attached corsage. Shoes, tights, gloves and a hat are not included. The corsage has black and white vertical stripes at the front and a black decorative border at the edges. There are also 2 small blue satin bows attached to the corsage as a further detail. In the bust area, it looks as if there is a hole in the body, allowing the wearer's ribs to be seen as an X-ray image. The skirt is in blue satin and goes straight down from the corsage. The inner fabric is also in black and white vertical stripes, some of which are visible. The front of the skirt is gathered up to the knee. The gathering is held in place with 2 blue bows. This allows you to see the black and white inner fabric.
