Nail Polish & Nail Polish Remover

Colored nail polish belongs as a decorative cosmetic to almost every beauty and carnival make-up, but is also used in horror and Halloween as a special make-up effect again and again.
The nail polish serves in carnival rather as a beauty make-up accessories for finger and toenails equally and beautifies them with color pigments, glitter, gloss and UV effect. In the special make-up area, nail polish is used to make fingernails look rotten, huge or brittle. Black fingernails are especially popular with Gothic fans and in the heavy metal scene, while football fans often wear the club and national colors as a nail polish color.

Nail polish application made easy

First remove all residues of your old nail polish color with a nail polish remover and then wash your hands so that no residues of the nail polish remover are left. Now make your fingernails the shape and length you want, making sure you don't have to cut or file them after painting. It would be a shame if your freshly painted fingernails would be damaged again.

Step 1: Base Coat & Undercoat
Now apply your base coat. This provides a better hold of the color pigments and prevents the color from bleeding into your natural nail. The base coat blocks ugly discoloration and is especially important if the color you want to have afterwards is extremely different from your natural nail color. Now dip the brush of the base coat into your bottle and wipe it lightly on the neck of the bottle. Now place the nail polish brush in the middle of your fingernail and draw the first line from near the cuticle to the tip of the fingernail. Now prime both edges and make sure there are no streaks or drips. Let dry well for about 10 to 15 minutes.

Step 2: Coloured nail polish
Now shake the bottle with the colored nail polish well, so that all color pigments mix well and then apply the nail polish according to the same principle of the base coat.

Step 3: Top Coat
As a final nail polish layer you can apply a top coat or top varnish, which protects your otherwise quite sensitive, coloured nail polish layer and gives additional shine. Top coat nail polish comes in many different variations and often includes such great features as glitter, pearl or high gloss effects, as an extra decorative element.

Nail polish remover is available as a liquid, cream or soaked cotton pad. Nail polish remover comes in a variety of forms and ingredients. The biggest difference besides the caring ingredients is that of the solvent contained in it. Some nail polish removers contain, among other things, the solvent acetone, others do without it. Acetone free nail polish removers are currently becoming more popular and better of the result.
