Latex noses are usually glued to the skin with skin glue, also called mastic, and then adjusted to your own skin tone with theatrical make-up or make-up. After use, the latex noses can be easily removed again and can usually be reused. Breathing is no problem with the latex noses and their nostrils. There are many other occasions where latex noses are used. One of them is the realistic accident representation, also called RUD. This is mostly the make-up of accidents and disasters for maneuvers by the German Armed Forces, firefighters or paramedics. With the drastic representation of broken noses, head injuries and bad wounds the future rescuers, personnel or soldiers are trained for their later tasks. The latex noses help to make the accidents look as real as possible.
