The exceptionally long ears are simply attached to your own ears with skin glue (mastic) while your hearing remains unimpaired. To perfect your sci-fi and fantasy make-up, the edges of the alien ears only need to be concealed with make-up afterwards. Careful removal of the Spock ears allows them to be worn several times.
